Marketing Manager

My Client has been at the forefront cloud computing are looking for a seasoned marketing manager to lead and manage the hands-on execution of digital marketing programmes designed to increase the brand awareness of the company a and its products/solutions resulting in more leads and new business opportunities. 

Working with the world’s largest management consultancies, professional services firms and system integrators rely on Rosslyn’s cloud platform, and self-service data preparation and management tools to deliver accelerated business value to clients.

This role is ideal for an individual looking for a past paced and 'ever-changing' industry requiring a 'swtiched on' mentality at all times.

There will be opportunities for exponential growth within the company and on a personal level also.

Duties of the Marketing Manager

- The highly energetic marketing manager candidate will be responsible for product marketing and product marketing communications along with all lead generation efforts with the support of the existing sales and marketing team.   
- He/she will also be responsible for managing/updating the CRM database (Salesforce) and Marketo, the company’s marketing automation software.   
- He/she should be a strategic thinker, but able to and willing to roll up his/her sleeves to hit monthly lead generation and conversion targets.
- He/she will be comfortable working closely with sales (direct and partner teams) to help identify and convert leads into new business; work closely with account managers to enhance customer satisfaction and loyally
- He/she will work closely with business partners, advising, planning and running joint marketing campaigns
- To succeed, the right candidate should be a world-class writer, able to translate technical speak into business language.

He/she should also be comfortable writing for different mediums, online and offline, from web copy and product sheets, to white papers to executive FAQs.
- He/she should also be experienced at digital marketing and how to use new technologies to deliver and track the effectiveness of engagement strategies and tactics; this will involve being proactive and expanding the company’s community of influencers

Background of the ideal Marketing Manager

- Seven to eight years of product marketing and marketing communications experience working for a (B2B) technology company)
- Well versed in corporate and product positioning, and the development and testing of key messages with diverse stakeholders
- Is knowledgeable with public relations best practices and is comfortable pitching media
- Be able to work independently, with little supervision, to achieve marketing and business objectives 
- Is not afraid to jump in and do what is required to achieve agreed outcomes.
- Organising and running events would be beneficial 
- Employee communications experience would be a plus
- Extensive hands-on Marketo experience is ESSENTIAL; Salesforce experience would be advantageous
- It’s a given that you know Google Analytics and other tools of the trade, not to mention common social media networking sites
