Our client is looking for hotel housekeepers to assist during peak period at several hotels within London and the South East that they supply facility staff too.

Experience is not essential as training will be given but you must have high energy levels, good stamina, good communication skills, reliability and be well presented.

The hotels that my client supplies to are looking for temporary housekeeping staff who have great flexibility on the days they can work.

They are unable to accommodate people who can only do set days each week as their workload is governed by the hotels occupancy levels.

There are consistent hours available from June until August to successful candidates.

In general, your duties will be;

  • cleaning corridors, lobbies, stairways, elevators and lounges as well as guest rooms

  • distribute linen, towels and room supplies using wheeled carts or by hand

  • restock room supplies such as drinking glasses, soaps, shampoos, writing supplies, mini bar

  • replace dirty linens with clean items

  • inspect and turn mattresses regularly

  • check all appliances in rooms are in working order

  • realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout

  • respond to guest queries and requests

  • remove room service items

  • ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms

  • report any maintenance issues or safety hazards

  • ability to lift, push and pull required load (usually about 30lbs)
