Position: Buyer
Based in Warwickshire
Salary: £25,000, pension, 25 days holiday, healthcare, holiday, bonus scheme

Opportunity
Our client is looking for a Buyer to join their team.

You need to have some experience within a buying / commercial team, however our client is flexible as to what background you are from.
As a Buyer you will be involved in the ownership of a number of purchasing categories that will include Plant Hire, Transport or IS services.

The aim of the role is to work with cross functional teams to support a sustainable supply chain to ensure external expenditure is effectively managed to deliver the lowest cost and highest standards.

Some of the areas you will get involved in are the research of suppliers, trends, opportunities and risks.

You will also get involved in Supplier selection, managing the quotation and tender process through to implementing contracts.

About You
It is essential to have purchasing experience and a minimum A level standard , GCSE Maths and English A-C.
You need to be commutable to the Warwickshire area and have your own transport.

You will be office based.
In addition you will have a commercial background, you will preferably you will have experience and knowledge of purchasing processes (e.g.

managing tenders & contracts).

You will also have the ability to use a variety of computer software including developing and maintaining spreadsheets and databases (including; SAP, Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.) And ideally you will have experience of using various purchasing / procurement systems (for example Ariba and SAP).
