Client Service Assistant

Our client is a leading coffee and vending provider, providing nationwide services in the HoReCa industry.

They are seeking a Client Service Assistant to join the busy team in Welwyn Garden City.

The company presents an exciting new retail experience, designed to focus primarily on the automated retail coffee market.

Role summary

, Working closely with the Client Services Manager to provide a first class customer service
, Product orders in a retail environment
, Existing and new retail customer contact management
, Repeat orders for existing retail customers
, Data management - sales reports for retail outlets
, Management of customers and problem solving
, Provide data and reports for the business and for our customers


  • Contacting all retail customers on the database in a timely manner, to ensure each branch is always in stock

  • Liaising with wholesale delivery team to ensure prompt and full deliveries.

  • Dealing with any customer service issues promptly and efficiently.

  • Management of the customer data in-line with CRM Gold Standards

  • Assisting with inbound enquiries and contacting clients to chase outstanding information

  • Problem solving customer queries and seeing through to solution

  • Managing and planning new customer activation

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date computerised database records (CRM)

  • Providing data and reports on usage for sales team to supply to customers

  • Daily management of telemetry system and flagging of stock issues to branches, area managers and sales team

  • Ensuring processes and procedures are followed, whilst seeking opportunities for continuous improvement

  • Demonstrate attention to detail when completing customers new orders, repeat orders and contact data

  • Demonstrate ability to work to strict deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy

  • Seek to improve their own personal performance.

, Excellent interpersonal skills with proven track record of influencing internal and external parties
, Able to communicate at all levels up to MD level in Retail Businesses
, Assertive with strong communication, customer service and interpersonal skills both telephone and face to face.

Required Qualifications

, Ideally graduate, or graduate calibre
, 5 GCSEs including English and Maths, minimum Grade C.
