Team Leader

Our client is a leading provider of vending, coffee, and drinks machines providing nationwide coverage.

They are looking for a Team Leader to join the Operations Team covering the West London area.

This is an exciting opportunity working as part of the Operations Team, you will play an integral role in a fast paced environment providing first line on site quality support to our customers and Route Operators, liaising with various departments within the business, in particular service, customer service and sales teams.

As a Team Leader you will be dividing your working days between time in the office and time in the different sites around West London.


 In the event of a customer query or complaint, liaise with internal departments to understand the issue, if necessary visit clients to work towards resolution & implement remedial action  Investigating general problems (such as stock variances & handheld software issues), liaising with Route Operator and Operations Manager as required.

 Carry out routine quality audits, prepare recommendations and report findings.

 Provide new Operators training to company standards, e.g.

machine hygiene, brewers, extraction systems and minor coin mechanism problems.

 To assist with the planning and implementation of new machine installations.

This will involve planning route visits, preparing stock and attending installations.

 Provide ad hoc route relief to Route Operations staff as required
 Responsible for appraising and line management of Operators/Route Relief staff
 Review van stock and machine fill levels, thus minimising damaged/wasted products.

 Monitor & review operator routes and amend visits as necessary to drive efficiency improvements  Assist the Operations Manager with planning and support an ethos for continuous improvement

Skills Requirements

 Excellent communication skills & good customer services awareness.

 Detailed knowledge of machine health & hygiene procedures.

 Good geographical knowledge of UK an advantage  Knowledge of operating systems including android software applications and back office software, preferably vending specific.

 Basic to intermediate Excel skills would be advantageous, e.g.

basic formulas/pivot tables & graphs  Experience of stock management and stock taking essential

 Highly motivated & well organised
 Full driving licence.

 Professional.

 Ability to meet deadlines.

 Self-starter, also able to work independently or as part of a team.
