Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit an experienced Deputy FM Manager to join our team in Worcester.

Who is our ideal Deputy FM Manager?

* Excellent financial skills

* Ability to stand in for Contract Manager in their absence

* Previous experience of a similar role would be beneficial

* Able to induct, train and manage staff

* Ability to work without constant supervision

* Flexible and positive approach to team working

* Awareness of personal safety.

What will I be responsible for?

The Deputy FM Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of Domestic, Catering, portering and grounds services to the Library, ensuring that the highest standard of service is provided throughout to comply with the contractual obligations.

A hands-on approach is required for this role.

The role reports into the Senior Account Manager.

Other responsibilities include:

* Ensure that adequate staffing levels are maintained

* Organise, plan and control allocation of workload.

* Procure all relevant Cleaning equipment and goods are available for use.

* Ensure that adequate staffing levels are maintained

* Ensure that working methods adopted are in accordance with Food Hygiene / Environmental Health requirements

* Organise, plan and control allocation of workload.

* Establish acceptable standards for all services in accordance with contract specifications.

* Liaise with service users to ensure that standards are being met.

* Carry out departmental audits to ensure that correct procedures are used.

* Ensure that the appropriate equipment and materials are available when required.

* Monitor stock issues.

* Order supplies as required from authorised suppliers.

* Create requisitions using computerised system to facilitate payment of invoices.

* Take responsibility for recruitment and retention of staff.

* Maintain staff records in relation to absence, annual leave, staff disciplinary and grievance issues

* Monitor and control departmental wages and materials budgets.

* Provide trading figures, stock figures and expenditure as required.

* To adhere to all Company HR policies and procedures, including Disclosure checks, as required

Rewards & Benefits

In return for your hard work as a Deputy FM Manager, you will be offered a salary of £28,000-£30,000 dependent upon experience as well as a range of excellent benefits.
