Accounts Manager

Nelson Chambers are recruiting for an experienced Accounts Manager to join our client, a well-established service provider based in Basildon.

Interviews available immediately.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Inputting purchase invoices into SAGE

  • Setting up supplier payment runs

  • Ensure that all month end entries and reconciliations are accurate

  • Prepare work for month end and year end closure

  • Prepare monthly credit reconciliations

  • Management accounts

  • CIS returns, statements and payments

  • Payroll

  • VAT returns

  • Expenses

  • Assisting with year end

  • Other ad-hoc duties as required

Person specification:

  • Proven experience within a similar sector i.e Building/Construction

  • Experience using Sage 50 accounts and SAGE Payroll


  • Monday-Friday-9am-5pm

  • Full time, Permanent

  • 28 days holidays

  • Pension contribution

  • Salary: £25,000 - £30,000+ p.a dependent on experience.
