Development Account Manager BMK

About Our Client

Well-established multi-sited organisation that distributes stainless steel and aluminium products nationwide require a Business Development Manager to join their expanding sales team in the West Midlands branch.

The successful candidate will be hungry for success and have a proactive approach to sales.

You will have a demonstrable track record of sales and managing existing accounts as well as generating new business.

Strong ability to build relationships is a necessity for this role.

Job Description

  • Meet or exceed target from each allocated customer
  • Understand the purchasing strategy for each customer
  • Develop relationships with each customer in the allocated geographical area

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills (face to face and telephone)
  • Communicates clearly and listens effectively
  • Understanding of the computer system and works within the companies procedures
  • Able to compose and deliver professional presentations to a range of audiences
  • Communicating to a diverse range of customers.

    Speaks confidently and clearly to gain respect of the customer.
  • Controls stock level
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and build strong, long-lasting relationships

What's on Offer

  • A basic salary of circa £40,000, car and a strong bonus structure
