Salary: £8 per hour

Overview:

We are currently recruiting for two Night Shift Production Operatives in the Food Industry.

This position is based in Fairford and working 45 hours per week on a 9pm – 6am shift.

Our client is a specialist seafood supplier that is proud to serve the finest restaurants, hotels, schools and colleges in southern and central England and has been for over 25 years.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Selecting, weighing, quality control, boxing and grading of fish.
  • Fish must be prepared professionally and presented well. 
  • Three different shift patterns. 
  • Prepare all orders ready for dispatch.
  • Using a skinning machine, a scaling and gutting station, a portioning table and 3 filleting tables. 
  • Full training will be provided. 
  • Accepting deliveries. 
  • Stock control. 


Skills and Qualifications:


  • Knowledge of fish recognition would be helpful but not a necessity. 
  • Working to constant deadlines. 
  • Ability to read weighing scales. 
  • Basic computer knowledge. 
  • Time management and punctuality. 


This will be working as a Production Operative at the company’s headquarters in Fairford, applicants need to have their own transport due to the location.

9pm – 6am night shift – with paid breaks! Opportunity to work on a Sunday with one day off in the week.



This would be suited to ex-military personnel, however candidates from all backgrounds will be considered.
