Assistant ASB Officer

Assistant Anti-Social Behaviour Officer, Cambridge
A local authority are looking to hire an Assistant ASB Officer to assist their ASB Officers in triaging new ASB cases within Cambridge, on an initial 3-month contract with a good chance of being extended.

The Role
The focus of this role is to assist the ASB Officers of the authority, and will include the following responsibilities:
- Assist ASB Officers with triaging of complaints of ASB to the Council and ensuring that these complaints are allocated to the appropriate team within the council and the complainant updated.
- To assist ASB Officers in responding to enquiries and reported complaints of ASB and serious neighbour nuisance.
- To use various internal databases to ensure that cases are updated and that all records are kept accurately and securely in accordance with policies and procedures.
- To assist with the preparation of case files for use in legal proceedings or other action.
- To produce accurate minutes for meetings as requested.

Use Microsoft Office programmes and in house databases as required.

The Contract
To be successful within this role, you must be flexible in your approach, have an excellent telephone manner and be confident to deal with internal and external customers and colleagues alike.

You will be required to work on your own initiative, and have excellent written skills and should be familiar using Microsoft Office Programmes and happy to use internal databases to maintain accurate records.

The Contract
This contract is initially for three-months but has a good chance of being extended.

The role is full-time, working 37 hours per week, 9.00-17.00, Monday to Friday.
