Job Title: Technical Operations Support (2nd Line)
Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 depending on experience
Locations: Birmingham  

Job description
My client is a growing telecommunications company based in the Birmingham area specialising in cost effective, managed communication services for businesses.

They are looking to recruit Technical Operations Helpdesk individuals to be a part of our office-based 2nd line support desk team.

The role is office based telephone support and service provisioning.

Experience in a technical helpdesk role is an essential requisite, technical knowledge and experience in supporting the products and technologies that they offer is clearly advantageous.

- Hosted Telephony
- IP Telephony
- Connectivity – DSL/EFM etc provisioning, fault finding, router configurations
- O365
- Business Mobile contracts

The role involves, but is not limited to,  provisioning new services including Telephone lines, SIP services, Web Hosting, ADSL connections, VPN networks, Mobile services, Telephone systems and Intelligent Network based solutions; Resolving faults on the services listed above, using remote management tools, supplier portals, defined processes and intuition; general telephone answering for customer queries, performing internal processes and liaising with suppliers primary and secondary contacts as required.

The candidate is expected to be able to demonstrate excellent PC skills in MS Office applications.
