UK Sales Director


We are currently working with a leading component supplier to the Aerospace industry that is looking for an experienced UK Sales Director to develop and implement the sales strategy for the UK business.

The Role

As the UK Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving the new strategy within the UK market with the aim of doubling sales, increasing gross margin and increasing Stock turn.

You'll have full accountability for the UK Sales Team which consists of Sales Managers and Account Managers.

This includes objective setting, regular reviews and support, and reviewing overall results.

You'll be responsible for developing new and existing customers through regular customer visits and meetings.

As the UK Sales Director, you'll be a proactive member of the management team and will support day to day activities of the company.

You'll also assist with the following activities;

  • Assist the General Manager with sales contract reviews

  • Assist in bid selection and preparation

  • Report on market and competitor activities

  • Prepare on key quote requests

  • Through your own contacts or through market research, you'll identify and introduce new potential customers in the UK


  • You will ideally have experience of working in the Aerospace markets

  • You will have proven experience in developing and implementing a successful sales strategy within a business, along with tangible achievements.

  • You will have management experience.

  • You will be degree educated as a minimum.
