The Company and the Role:
The Company is a well-established London Club situated within the West End. With its magnificent interior, standards are kept high for the members. This professional standard spreads right across the entire service and goes deep into the food sectors where there is an outstanding pride on delivery.
Whilst this is an established location, for a traditional membership, the expectations are second to none and the position will allow a passionate Chef de Partie to really excel.
The position of Chef de Partie has become available due to an internal promotion. You will be joining a dedicated brigade of 14 Chefs and 5 Kitchen Porters whilst working under fantastic leadership within a very happy environment.
Key Features of the Role:
Working as an important member of the brigade, your main duties will be to ensure the continued high standard of efficiency within your section.
Assist the Sous Chefs in the preparation and the service of food, maintain the highest standards at all times and help ensuring that the designated culinary areas, equipment and utensils are kept clean and professional.
Ensure that the Sous Chef is kept aware of any relevant comments from either the club guests or staff.
You will be required to assist in other sections when required, training and delegation to the Commis Chef and Demi CDP. Ordering, whilst keeping in mind stock usage and assisting with the menu planning are within the position’s requirements.
You will maintain cleanliness, monitor stock control and help with the organisation but with your unblemished enthusiasm, this won’t be a problem.
You will be expected to create, develop and set the highest standards of food quality and consistency.
You will be a great team player with good organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a very busy environment and expected to enhance the Club's reputation for consistently preparing cooking and presenting dishes to the right quality that is second to none.
Knowledge and Skills:
You should be an accomplished Demi CPD or Chef De Partie with experience of working within a fresh food kitchen at a similar level.
You must possess ambition to continually push yourself to move up to the next career level – the club encourages such enthusiasm.
Your practical experience should ideally be supported by some form of catering qualification.
You will be required to be a great team member with good organisational skills with the ability to thrive within a very busy environment consistently preparing, cooking and presenting the finest culinary finish.
You will need a passion and drive to prepare the perfect dish, every time, with a commitment to create 'the best' perpetually.
Previous experience in a similar role is important and you will require a broad knowledge of food and a desire to constantly achieve precise attention to detail, is essential. With fresh, quality food and someone who can thrive within a busy kitchen environment this is a fabulous opportunity.

What’s on Offer:
Salary: £25,000 within 40 hours per week working 5 out of 7 days. In addition, you have a minimum of 20 days holiday plus bank and public holidays, Life insurance; pension scheme; free meals on duty; uniforms.
Christmas closure and an annual Christmas bonus.
