Are you an experienced teacher of PE?

We are seeking to appoint an experienced PE Teacher to work in a smaller than the average-sized secondary school with a sixth form based on the west side of Northamptonshire.

The school converted to academy status in September 2012 with a new principal appointed into post in 2014.

The school is on its journey to being a ‘good' school.

The position is for two terms with a PE teaching timetable for four days each week.

The role can be a full time post if the candidate can offer Business Studies as a second subject.

This is not essential but is desirable.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Will have previous experience teaching PE to a good standard

  • Will respect and adhere to the school policies

  • A strong communicator

  • Good classroom presence

  • QTS is desirable but not essential

The schools most recent Ofsted report showed the effectiveness of leadership and management to be ‘good' so if you are a PE Teacher who wants to work in an academy who stresses the importance of respect, whether for oneself, other pupils, staff, the learning process or the environment then we want to hear from you.
