Our client is an emerging growth company building an innovative, proprietary marketplace that is quickly becoming the de facto B2B marketing channel industry leader.

Their exciting growth has created an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT professional to join their team.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Serves as lead Android developer; depending on skills set can be lead on one platform and play a supporting role across other technologies

  • Delivers across the entire app life cycle—concept, design, build, deploy, test, release and support

  • Works directly with developers and product managers to conceptualize, build, test and realize products

  • Consumes and contribute to requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into elegant functional solutions

  • Builds prototypes at tech scoping stage of projects

  • Creates compelling device specific user interfaces and experiences

  • Optimizes performance for apps

  • Explains technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders


  • 4+ years of Android App Development, Deployment and Analytics Platforms

  • Strong OO design and programming skills in Java (J2EE/J2ME)

  • Familiarity with Android SDK

  • Knowledge of MySQL, PostGres, MS SQL Server or similar database management system

Preferred Skills or Experience:

  • Experience on web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML)

  • Understanding of PCI compliance and mobile security

  • Experience in development using common web and mobile technology stacks

  • Experience in an Agile workflow leveraging continuous integration environment

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written) to liaise with various departments locally and remotely
