Fire Safety Manager

My client, a Housing Association based in London is looking for a Fire Safety Specialist to join their team.

This is a full time, permanent position and the successful candidate will have experience within a social housing setting, be able to carry out Fire Risk Assessments and have relevant professional qualifications.

The main purpose of the role is to support the Compliance Team delivering fire safety activities.

This can include the following;

Support the Fire Safety Team in managing contractual relationships with service providers
Work with the Fire Contracts Manager to ensure data is relevant and up to date and that systems are updated effectively and efficiently.
Ensure that all statutory, regulatory and policy requirements are complied with at all times.
Support other teams to monitor and oversee contract, manage contractors in line with contractual obligations.
Provide technical expertise and advice in respect of Fire Safety

The responsibilities will include;

Assure the quality of all Fire Risk Assessments received from Service Providers
Assure the quality and clarity of Fire Action descriptions to facilitate easy allocation of ownership and swift resolution
Resolve queries and ambiguities in respect of evacuation policy and fire alarm specifications

The successful candidate will need to have a full UK driving licence, relevant professional qualifications/training courses and experience within a Social Housing setting.
