Front Office Support Analyst

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing 1st and 2nd Line Support for Global Front Office investment systems (including portfolio modelling, order management, research, performance, risk and compliance).

  • Strong focus on new applications required for MiFID II (TCA, TRAX)

  • Understand the data architecture within firm as it relates to data being fed into and out of Front Office systems.

    Analyse and source data required for these systems.

  • Liaising with data providers (e.g.

    Back Office, market data etc.) to resolve queries.

  • Liaising with system vendors to track product issues and enhancements.

  • Providing development and support input into projects.

  • Manage workload as well as ensuring incident management are maintained correctly.

Technical Knowledge and Experience

  • Front Office Order Management System Knowledge

  • Trade Life Cycle Knowledge

  • Relevant tertiary qualification

  • Working knowledge of key Front Office systems

  • Understanding of Front Office team's processes and structures

  • Understanding of key Front Office data requirements, investment terminology and related security information essential

  • Experience of large and varied data sets, from multiple data sources, in order to conduct analysis and streamline processes is essential

System skills

  • Firm grasp of SQL

  • OMS (Order management System) experience required (thinkFolio preferable)

  • Dealing platform knowledge (EMS) desirable
