SRGEurope has been appointed to recruit a Senior Sales Executive / Deputy Ad Manager / Ad Manager dependent on experience for a leading content marketing agency based in London.

Working closely with The Ad Director, editorial and Publishing teams to ensure a consistent stream of new ideas and revenue opportunities which are attractive to advertisers.

You will be responsible for over - delivering the advertising revenue, building and developing positive cross relationships with core clients, have the ability to draft, present and effectively implement agreed strategy.


Responsibilities:



  • Developing positive relationships with key suppliers and media agencies and ensuring that the magazine and digital offering is planned for relevant campaigns and new clients alike

  • Drive supplier, agency, trade and client direct relationships to maximise revenue across the portfolio

  • Developing and forming an extensive client base across existing and new clients

  • To develop, propose, cost implement creative solution, sponsorship packages and advertorial ideas to potential advertisers

  • To have detailed and current knowledge of the clients market and competitor activity

  • To use magazine, digital and industry research/ stats to create meaningful presentations and sales messages

  • Over achieve agreed KPI's

  • Attend client meetings; events, shows and conferences to promote the magazine

  • Take responsibility of Ad copy approval with the client and internally, dealing with any issues that may arise

  • Take an active role within the advertising department, generating team reports, analysis and industry trend analysis as requested

  • Completing the whole issue-cycle from the early stages of a synopsis meeting, to pitching and selling, laying out the flat plan, raising a billing report and closing an issue

  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all agreed sales and proposals


Requirements:



  • Excellent client handling skills, bringing authority and gravitas to the position

  • Ability to influence agencies and direct clients

  • Confident in creating and delivering presentations, as well as being numerical and analytical

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy

  • Previous print and Online experience - Essential
