Are you an experienced electrochemist looking for a new challenging opportunity?

We are currently looking for an Electrochemist to join an exciting diagnostic start-up company based in the Glasgow area.

As the Electrochemist you will be working as part of the research and development team and help drive the development of the electrochemistry detection for the company's assay platform.


Your duties as the Electrochemist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:


You will be required to be involved in the development of the electrochemistry detection for the assay platform in order to deliver suitable feasibility performance in line with the company's overall goals.


You will also be required to further establish the laboratory and ensure basic GLP compliance is maintained.


As the electrochemist, you will be an integral part of the laboratory team and be able to think for yourself and draw valid conclusions.


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Electrochemist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:


Relevant degree in an appropriate scientific discipline (Masters or PhD).


Proven industry experience working in a development electrochemist capacity as well as experience with assay development.


Practical experience with impedance spectroscopy would be very beneficial.
