They are seeking an experienced and dynamic luxury trip planner to join their friendly specialist team.

The purpose of this role is to create incomparably original and creative travel experiences and media stories for the company's clients and media contacts
Objectives of the Position:
, Create incomparably original, creative and considered travel experience to meet the client's brief in line with the company's brand values.
, Promote your region via the company's marketing channels.
, Develop business to your region to allow your business unit to grow and your role to evolve.
, Receiving clients' brief
, Conducting extensive published or online research required to develop ideas for client trip concepts
, Briefing local partners to develop itineraries that meet our clients' brief
, Briefing internal or external writers to write a travel concept or itinerary following a client or media enquiry
, Analysing & refining local partner proposals and quotations
, Pricing experiences
, Communicating with clients by phone or email
, On occasions meeting with clients personally to present itineraries
, When clients are travelling - be available as a week-end or out of office hours contact
, On occasions when workload requires it, writing finished itineraries and designing bespoke client documents to a high standard
, Liaising with local partners and clients to refine itineraries or address cost issues
, Trip management and guide liaison whilst clients are on trip
, For “guided experiences”: writing guide materials (route manual and trip overview) for each experience planned
, Briefing local partners and guides prior to each trip
, New business development with corporate clients or brand partnerships.
, Whilst your primary regional responsibility will be for Europe & the Middle East you will be expected to be sufficiently flexible to assist with client management and trip planning on projects in other regions.
, 2 - 5 years' of experience in the luxury or expeditionary travel industry
, Experience of dealing with high and ultra-high net-worth individuals
, Curiosity and a passion for research
, Creative, unconventional and conceptual thinker and problem-solver
, Entrepreneurial drive
, A positive attitude, enthusiasm and sense of humour
, Obsessive attention to detail and big-picture thinking
, Someone who is hard-working, who seeks excellence and continuous improvement
, Flexible to travel in U.K and overseas to meet clients or attend events - often outside normal office hours
, Excellent written English.
An ability to take bare facts and weave them into an engaging story
, Computer skills, Word, Excel, Adobe InDesign… and should know when to outsource skills
, Passion for and a willingness to travel
The successful applicant can expect a fantastic basic salary from £25k+ plus an extremely competitive and attractive bonus structure.
