Junior Helpdesk / IT 1st Line Support Analyst

Our client is looking for a Junior Helpdesk / IT 1st Line Support Analyst for their remote and 1st line Services support desk.

The role will be answer telephones and emails, dealing with customer and internal IT queries and allocation of escalated requests to 2nd line operators if you cannot deal with them on the phone.

It will involve Incident and ticket management, updating the call management system and working with other teams to progress incident and ticket requests.

The right candidate will have some experience years in a service desk environment with excellent customer service skills, verbal and written.

You will have some of technical skill below (not all required)

  • Supporting Windows 7

  • Microsoft Active Directory

  • Exchange

  • MS Office > 2010

  • Basic Networking

  • Veem / Backup Exec

  • Basic Knowledge of Citrix

  • Using remote support tools.

  • laptop/desktop and thin client support

Due to the office location it would be ideal if you have Driving license with a car but not essential.

Great role with great progression to 2nd and 3rd line support roles with good training.
