Part-time Finance Administrator

Our client is looking for a dynamic part-time Finance Administrator to join their expanding team.

The role is home based but you will be expected to attend meetings as required, these are usually weekly but you may not be needed at every meeting.


The role will be a minimum of 15 -20 hours a week but there may be additional hours to cover for staff holidays and auditing.


Our client is a leading provider of specialist mentoring services to HE and FE students.

They provide mental health and/or autism spectrum mentoring to students who are studying part time or full time at London universities or colleges.

You must also possess excellent communication and IT skills and have an eye for detail.

A good awareness of deadlines and experience of administration is essential.

A finance/ accounting qualification (at least AAT level 2) with 2 years of finance administration experience is essential.


Key duties

·             Customer service - liaising with students and HEI staff via email and telephone.

·             Dealing with incoming queries from government funding bodies.

·             Administration including managing documents, processing paperwork, data entry and record keeping.

·             General finance - processing invoices, timesheets and associated work.

·             Ensuring strict procedures are adhered to.

·             Operating MS office including Excel and Google G Suite.

·             Providing updates to relevant suppliers.

This is a contract role- Freelance (working remotely), with regular meetings in central London


Rate: £15-20.00 p/h
