Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Typhoon Support Integration Team for a Support Engineer

Within the support integration role the successful candidate with work as part of a team to ensure engineering integration across all the support disciplines, from a future business and product delivery perspective to ensure the future availability of a support package at entry into service of an aircraft capability, the key elements of the role involve:

Progression of support impact assessments using PLM Teamcentre.
Provide technical support to the RFA and Modification processes.

Provide regular formal reporting on progression against the agreed delivery plans.

Provide monthly ILS Inputs in to Eurofighter.
Head up the Support Programmes Configuration Control Board.

As a Support Engineer within Support Integration your key skills and qualifications should include:Â Â

The ability to demonstrate strong customer focus, displaying excellent communication skills both verbal and written and be a highly motivated team player.

Ideally, the successful candidate will be educated to degree/HNC level or equivalent, have experience in a related discipline, possess drive and enthusiasm, be an excellent team player, have good inter-personal communications skills and be competent in the use of Microsoft Office based applications and PLM Teamcentre.

Training will be offered in appropriate areas should this be required.
