Regional Manager



Regional Manager - ROI - 40-55k



My client is seeking a Regional Manager to join their team here in Ireland and play a pivotal role in developing a high performance culture, and driving the business forward.


You will achieve this with your regional team, translating the company strategy into tangible targets at a local level and engaging your team to achieve them through coaching and high quality reviews.



Your Remit
People

  • To provide strong leadership and direction to Managers across the region, clearly communicating the business vision and operational plans and objective setting, and performance management.

  • Create and lead a high performing regional team by developing a strong capable team of General Managers who exceed budgeted profit expectations and significantly contribute to the overall trading margin success.

  • To ensure a live Talent and succession plan exists across the region, to enable people to see career progression opportunities.



Customer

  • To improve sales growth across stores through consent execution of Customer Journey.

  • To achieve and exceed CSS score through ongoing coaching and objective setting with GMs to put the customer at the heart of store operations.

  • Identify and fully exploit growth opportunities in new customer offers, as well as drive excellence in new product launches, brand initiatives and in-store execution.



Operating Efficiency

  • To take full accountability for success of operational changes, personally leading Regional projects to meet success criteria.

  • Ensure that VM, brand guidelines and standards are executed within all stores.

  • To improve profitability through effective resourcing, deployment and payroll budget across stores.

  • Effectively manage store portfolio changes through Transformation Program and disposal process to timescales.

  • Analyse business performance and trends in relation to regional performance & undertake competitor analysis.


Finance



  • Deliver financial and KPI performance creating clear action plans to drive continuous improvements.

  • Feedback opportunities to increase profitability in the region and influence appropriate stakeholders to act.

  • Relentless in reducing costs in the region; reviewing all cost lines and optimising processes and resource.

  • To be an ambassador for the brand and demonstrate key company fundamentals.



What's Required



  • Excellent ability to work under pressure, displaying an outgoing, self-motivated, goal orientated approach.

  • Demonstrate excellent leadership skills with a proactive response to the needs of the business.

  • Excellent team player that supports colleagues to achieve their objectives through sharing best practice, knowledge and resources.

  • Good analytical skills, financially astute with strong attention to detail.

  • Good ability to communicate in a fluent and articulate manner with strong influencing skills.

  • Outstanding understanding of retail operations and processes
