Demand Planner

Demand Planner- £32,000-38,000 (DOE)- London Paddington- Contract until June 2019

My Client has released an exciting opportunity to join their team in London Paddington.

They are looking for a Demand Planner to join their team to develop product forecasts and item cycle management to ensure the clients EMEA can realise their revenue and profit goals.

The right candidate will need to have strong problem solving experience, be good at forecasting and strong supply chain experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the 9 month rolling forecasts for a given product category (Band, Phones & PC Accessories).

This forecast will be revised and analyzed weekly.

Continuously improving forecasting techniques, method, and approach.

Develop and track key forecasting KPI's, such as forecast and mix accuracy, on a monthly basis.

Partner closely with the Client's buying team on assortment decisions to align to OTB and to ensure we meet launch dates.

Partner closely with Supply Chain team to ensure 99.0% In Stock Percentage metric at a sku/outlet level.

Assemble and analyze all data pertinent to reflect impact of promotions, pricing changes, seasonality and other factors to develop continually-improving future forecasts.

Help create and maintain in region OTB process
Work closely with wider teams to ensure stock health targets are achieved Make recommended adjustments to forecast based on changes in demand and market trends.

Work closely with the in region online store managers and buying team to ensure all promotions are effectively capture and incorporated into product forecasts.

Work with Supply Planning team as part of the monthly S&OP process to ensure there is sufficient stock to support demand

A minimum of 1 year of demand planning or related experience.

, Strong analytical capabilities , Strong knowledge of demand planning process within a Retail environment.

, Previous experience working directly with vendors, merchants, and supply chain

This will be a busy fast paced role, so experience working in a large corporate company such as tech/retail would be a strong advantage.
