Accounts Administrator

Our client, based in Stoke on Trent, provide bespoke services to their clients.

They are looking for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.


Key responsibilities for the Accounts Administrator role will be:



  • Customer billing

  • Processing customer payments

  • Processing supplier invoices

  • Reconciling supplier statements

  • Supplier payment processing

  • Processing expenses and reconciling credit card statements

  • Assisting the projects administrator in the preparation of health and safety files

  • Miscellaneous document scanning, printing and filing

  • Answering the telephone and reception duties


For the Accounts Administrator it would be good to see candidates with:



  • Good standard of education

  • AAT qualification or similar is desirable

  • Payroll experience an advantage but not essential

  • Health and safety knowledge advantageous

  • Proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Computer literate

  • Attention to detail

  • Good communication skills

  • Excellent telephone manner

  • Ability to work well under pressure


Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week


Salary: £16,500 - £19,000 per annum
