HR Officer

We are currently recruiting for our market leading client based in St Albans, they are looking for an experienced HR Officer to join their team.

The successful candidate must ideally have some experience of working within a similar environment including handling a range of employee relations issues, recruitment, training and development and the ability to build strong working relationships and communicate across all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment of staff, including putting job specifications/adverts together and considering appropriate recruitment methods.

  • Relationship-building with key recruitment agencies, negotiating fees/terms etc.

  • Overseeing absence management.

  • Assisting with graduate trainee/apprentice recruitment.

  • Carrying out staff inductions.

  • Carrying out 3 & 6 month reviews.

  • Monthly sickness & holiday reconciliations

  • Conducting exit Interviews and providing feedback to the Head of HR

Key Skills Required:

  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years HR Officer/Advisor experience gained within a similar environment

  • CIPD Qualified (Associate Level or equivalent)

  • Organised with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines Hands on and self-motivating

  • Ideally experience working within an accountancy or law firm

  • Must hold a full UK driving license
