Practice Manager - Looked After Children - West Sussex

Practice Manager - Looked After Children - West Sussex - Up to £38 per hour

I am recruiting for the role of Practice Manager in a Looked After Children team in West Sussex.

Candidates must have previous post-qualified experience in a managerial role and demonstrate leadership abilities.

My client will only consider candidates with extensive Looked After Children experience.

Duties will include:

  • Section 47s

  • Initial Assessments

  • Liaising with Clients and Professionals/Agencies

  • Chairing Child Protection Core Groups

  • Supervised contact

  • Risk Assessments

  • The post holder in particular will play an important role with regards to incoming contacts and the processing of this based on the timescales specified within the MASH setting.

As a Leaving Care Social Worker you will have experience of:

  • Managing a social work team

  • Holding supervision

  • Experience of budgets

You will be:

  • HCPC registered

  • Eligible to work in the UK
