Recovery Worker

I am currently recruiting Mental Health Recovery Workers to support Mental Health Support Living Services in Cheshire.

Hours: 24 hour supported living consisting of days, nights and sleepovers.

Applicants must be flexible!

Standard Hourly Pay Rate: £13.26p/hr (Ltd)

Bank Holiday Hourly Pay Rate: £19.88p/hr (Ltd)

The Supported Living Scheme is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist individuals with their tenancy, mental health and crisis.

The service works in partnership with local Community Mental Health Trusts to enable high quality care and support.

The scheme utilises a recovery based model, undertaking a robust assessment that enables Recovery Workers to explore each individual's history and crisis.

Recovery Workers liaise with the person and other key professionals to build a tailored support plan which forms the beginning of the recovery journey for the individual.

The long term goal is to help them move into more independent living.

Recovery Workers will be expected to encourage and challenge the individual along the way and show progress by working with the complementary recovery star and the ladder of change.

Person Specification: You will need to be a great listener, with a flexible approach and the ability to prioritise a busy workload.

What's more, you have a good understanding of mental health issues and how they affect people and their families.

It is essential the applicant holds previous employment as a Mental Health Recovery Worker with substantial experience dealing with ‘high risk' clients.
