Family Fee Earner

Family Fee Earner | Minimum 3 Years Experience | Huyton

I am currently working with a fantastic firm based in Huyton who are looking to expand their Family Department and recruit an experienced Family Fee Earner with a minimum of 3 years' experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience of handling their own caseload from inception to completion with a mix of both private and public (legal aid) cases.

This will include divorce, finances, domestic abuse, child case proceedings and private children matters.

Responsibilities will include liaising with new existing clients, providing legal advice to clients on all family matters, assisting the development of the family department, identifying and developing client relationships.

The requirements needed for this role are a minimum of 3 years experience handling your own caseload with minimal supervision including interacting with clients, drafting all pleadings, statements and preparing bundles.

An ability and willingness to perform your own advocacy would be advantageous as well as having the working knowledge of LEAP Software and/or Microsoft Outlook.

Excellent time management and organisational skills are essential.
