Chef or Kitchen Assistant

Calling all Chefs and Cooks located in Peterborough! Do you thrive under pressure, have a kind nature and enjoy ensuring the wellbeing of others? The job will be included in a care home/ care setting, who are looking for a Chef located in The Peterborough area!
Grade: £10 LTD
Hours: Monday- Sunday 7am-6:30pm
Cook responsibilities:
, To contribute to happy living by delivering a quality catering service in line with health, safety and hygiene requirements.
, Minimising wastage when preparing meals and using equipment correctly.
, Compliance with food safety and health and safety procedures.
, Identify and report any signs of abuse.
, Escalate concerns / issues as appropriate
Knowledge: Health and safety procedures including control of substances harmful to health(COSHH).

Basic food safety knowledge.

Safe use of knives and kitchen equipment
Previous catering experience.

Experience of working with older people.
Level 2 food safety certificate.
