About the role

We are looking for a motivated and passionate individual with a keen interest in Retail and Sales to join one of Gippsland's leading office equipment suppliers.

As an entry level position, no previous experience is necessary; however, previous customer service experience could be advantageous.

To be considered for this role you must not have completed a Certificate III qualification or higher.

During your traineeship you will become proficient in the following skills:

  • Providing outstanding customer service, both face to face and over the phone

  • Engaging with customers to match the perfect products to their needs

  • Processing customer orders and updating the database with relevant information

  • Receiving and stocking merchandise

  • Keeping clientele informed of upcoming products of interest

  • Managing financial transactions including processing payments

  • Contacting clients via phone to discuss their requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have the following characteristics and skills:

  • Energetic, outgoing and friendly

  • Proactive, dependable and reliable

  • Tech savvy, with the ability to learn quickly

  • Great verbal and written communication

  • Currently holding, or willing to undertake Police and Working with Children Checks

  • Current manual Driver's Licence
