Project Manager –  Finance – Essex

£500 – 600 a day

Contract – Full Time

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Braintree, Colchester, and Epping are leading important work on Shared Services in response to each of our clients' needs, developing resilience and synergy in whatever form that takes.
  
  Within the Finance workstream, we are looking to implement common Finance practices and a common Finance system.
• undertaking a project to replace outdated and fragmented finance systems with a new cloud-based system.
• The new platform will enable improved efficiency, accuracy, and financial oversight
• This work package requires a project manager with a proven record in project delivery of a major finance system to work within the Shared Services Programme.
• It is essential that the Project Manager is a subject matter expert in their field to support a complex project and create solutions for critical business needs.
• This is a hybrid position with the expectation to attend the Epping Forest and Colchester City offices twice per fortnight.
• This role is deemed outside IR35’ please include salary expectation in your applications supporting statement.
• This project is to deliver a shared Finance system across Colchester City and Epping Forest District to meet the desired business outcomes of the programme and project, by working with and bringing together stakeholders across these 2 organisations, as well as Braintree the District
• Use Customer insight to identify how the design can significantly improve the Customer journey, outcomes, satisfaction.
• This is a hybrid role, and you will be required to attend and run meetings at Epping Civic offices and Rowan House, Colchester, as well as attend the offices and/or meet colleagues regularly to build relationships with colleagues in this period of change.
