Job Title: Supply Secondary Art Teacher

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Secondary Art Teacher to join our team on a supply basis at a secondary school in Liverpool, United Kingdom.

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching art at the secondary level, with a specialization in textiles being highly advantageous.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging art lessons to secondary school students in accordance with the national curriculum.


• Utilize innovative teaching methods to inspire creativity and foster artistic expression among students.


• Provide constructive feedback to students to support their artistic development and growth.


• Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment conducive to artistic exploration.


• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement art-related projects and initiatives.


• Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessments.


• Stay updated on developments in art education and incorporate new techniques and technologies into teaching practices.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.


• Experience teaching art at the secondary level, preferably with a focus on textiles.


• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.


• Flexibility and willingness to work on a supply basis.


• Valid enhanced DBS on the update service (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance or willingness to obtain one.
