Head of Talent (Acquisition) - Greater Manchester (hybrid, c2 days office) - c£65k - £70k plus bens - Permanent

Could you be the first Head of Talent (Acquisition) for this innovative and scaling group of brands?

This business is looking to transform and disrupt the sector they operate in through the engagement of great tech and amazing people.

They are passionate about customer experience and put this at the heart of everything they do, and in turn are embedding an equally strong focus on the employee journey and end to end experience.

As a result of their ambitious growth plans they are looking to bring on board their first Head of Talent (Acquisition) to build and drive a robust, contemporary TA strategy which supports the business growth and positions them as a great employer in the area and in their sector.

This role will be all encompassing, you will have carte blanche to develop the function as you see fit, transforming it from a heavily agency reliant function to a proactive, blended model which has data, insights and candidate / employee experience at it's core.

Some key projects will include;

• Review and development of ATS / manual tracking processes - both to improve the candidate experience and to enable better reporting and insights


• Development of specialist agency relationships, particularly for volume roles


• Working with the wider team on EVP / employer branding


• Talent pipelining for specialist and volume roles, developing innovative and creative talent id and attraction methods which are true to the brand and create impact within the talent pool


• Work closely with managers and leaders across the business to develop and embed robust and consistent assessment and selection processes

You will also provide strong, and inspirational leadership to the team, nurturing their development and supporting their career aspirations.

All the above will be delivered with a strong focus on DE&I throughout.

The ideal candidate for this role will demonstrate solid in house Talent Acquisition experience from a professional services / volume environment.

You will be able to show where you have built a TA strategy which has attracted the best talent in a competitive market, and where you have led a team to become a best-in-class function.

You must have a true passion for Talent Acquisition, it's a tough job at times but also incredibly rewarding and as such you'll be resilient and self-motivated.

You'll also be incredibly curious, seeking out cutting edge tools and staying on top of the latest trends in the sector, thinking about your personal development along with that of your team.
