Job Description: We are currently seeking a passionate and talented Music Specialist to work with the student in an OFSTED rated 'GOOD' school in the Wirral.

As a Music Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our music curriculum and fostering a vibrant musical culture within the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hand out work to the students and make sure that they stay on task and focused.


• Answer any questions they may have to your best ability.


• Nurture students' musical abilities through hands-on instruction, rehearsals, and performance opportunities.


• Stay informed about current trends and developments in music education and incorporate innovative teaching methods and technologies into lessons.


• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to explore their musical talents.

Requirements:

• A degree in Music, Music Performance, or a related field.


• Previous experience teaching/ tutoring music to students of varying ages and abilities.


• Strong proficiency in playing at least one musical instrument.
  
  


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.


• Creativity and enthusiasm for developing innovative music programs and activities.


• Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the music classroom.
