Our client is a market-leading Manufacturer based in the Brandesburton area, employing over 350 people across the UK.

Over the last 12 months, our client has gone through a substantial period of growth and rapid modernisation at their different sites.

Maintenance Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Preventative and planned maintenance of plant and equipment, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic equipment and MIG welding plant, overhead cranes, and hand tools.


• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.


• Recommend calling out specialist sub-contractors to carry out maintenance work as required in conjunction with the Production/General Manager.


• To be aware of all key health and safety legislation, work in a safe manner and to be able to work under a permit to work system.


• Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly checks on plant and equipment as required by the Production/General Manager

Maintenance Engineer Skills and Experience:

• Apprentice trained or time served (minimum of 2 years previous experience in a similar role)


• Basic electrical competency qualification and a lifting tackle inspection qualification would be advantageous.

• Salary £34,476K DOE


• Working 4-day shifts per week Monday to Thursday


• Overtime paid at an uplifted rate

• 28 days Holiday (rising to 32 days with service)
