Our client, a leading construction company in London, is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join its Pre-Construction team at the Head Office.

The company has a strong reputation for delivering major projects, from intricate Cut & Carve to large RC Frame projects.

The role involves using the latest technology for competitive bids, maintaining a client-centric approach, and overseeing the entire tender process.

The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate cost plans, contributing to the bid success rate, and ensuring high-quality project delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Review tender information and employer's requirements.


• Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities and pricing information.


• Present tender submissions and attend meetings.


• Analyse and incorporate tender returns into handover packs.


• Support pre-construction, technical, and planning functions.


• Negotiate final contract sums, prepare risk registers, and assist in establishing budgets.

Requirements:

• Substantial experience with a main contractor on similar value projects.


• Preferable experience in high-end residential/commercial projects.


• Familiarity with various construction methods.


• Proven ability to control costs, timing, and quality.


• Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.


• Ability to use computerized estimating packages.


• Strong mathematical ability.
