Trainee Installation Engineer
HVAC / Containment Systems - Leeds based -

Company Overview: Our client designs, manufactures, and installs containment systems within the pharmaceutical and fine food market across the UK and Europe.

They are at the forefront of their field and are seeking a Trainee Installation Engineer to join their team.
Role Overview: As a Trainee Installation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in assembling, fitting, and installing brand new HVAC containment systems.

Here are the key responsibilities:

• Workshop Assembly (60%):
  
  
  
  • Based in the workshop, you'll be involved in assembling and fitting brand new HVAC containment systems.
  
  
  • Mechanical assembly, dismantling, packing, and shipping will be part of your daily tasks.
  
  
  
  


• On-Site Installation (40%):
  
  
  
  • Travel to customer sites in a small team of 2-3 engineers.
  
  
  • Install the containment system on-site (both in the UK and Europe).
  
  
  • Some projects may require staying away from home for up to 2 weeks at a time.
  
  
  
  

Minimum Skills / Experience Required:

• Previous mechanical fitting, assembly, or installation experience.


• Site installation experience is beneficial.


• Holds a valid passport and clean driving license.


• Able to work from engineering drawings and schematics.


• Motivated and an excellent team player.


• Able to commute to the Leeds area with own transport.

Package:

• Starting salary range: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum (based on current skill and experience).


• Working hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30 am - 4 pm, Friday 7:30 am - 2 pm (when not on site).


• Daily stay-away bonus: £30 for UK projects, £35 if abroad.
