Key Requirements:

• Proven ability in diagnostic fault finding under production pressure


• Mechanical expertise with essential electrical experience


• Knowledge of TPM principles and computerized management systems (preferred)


• Responsibility for PPM throughout the building


• 18th Edition certification for electrical work (if electrical bias, advantageous but not essential)

Key Duties:

• Execute planned maintenance activities as per the schedule


• Attend and repair breakdowns, reporting all actions and necessary follow-up


• Proactively prevent equipment failures and enhance overall equipment performance


• Undertake necessary training for skill and knowledge enhancement


• Work under departmental and site KPIs for maximizing business performance

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• HNC standard (or equivalent) or higher in an Engineering discipline


• Time-served with Mechanical or Electrical bias to NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)


• Post-apprenticeship experience, preferably in a high-speed, high-volume manufacturing environment (plastic packaging environment advantageous)


• Proven skills in preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, problem-solving, and continuous improvement
