Are you an Experienced Mechanical Fitter or someone with an aptitude for
Mechanical Fitting / Assembly within a manufacturing industry? If yes, read on….

My client is a well established business working with niche products in a niche
industry are looking to expand following a recent acquisition.

The manufacturing facilities are based within commutable distance from Leicester, Coalville, Nottingham.

Derby.

They are currently looking for a Skilled/Semi Skilled Mechanical Fitter to work both in their workshop.

The Role - Mechanical Fitter:

- Work from Engineering Drawings to build large industrial units
- Sub assembly as well as final assembly duties
- Use varying different hand tools and measuring equipment
- Testing units following re-assembly to ensure they are fit for purpose
- Working independently and as part of a team

Minimum Skills / Experience Required - Mechanical Fitter:

- Experience as a Mechanical Fitter/Assembler in an industrial environment
- If possible have completed an apprenticeship C&G/NVQ 3 (not essential)
- Able to use hand and power tools
- Ideally have some machining and/or welding experience (training offered)
- Experience with Overhead Crane (ideal, not essential)

The Package - Mechanical Fitter:

- Starting salary of between £14 to £16 per hour
- Potential Permanent opportunity
- Overtime available
- Free onsite parking
