Hull– Tenancy Officer

Location - HU1 1HJ (Flexible working)

On going contract – 37 hours  £15.70ph

Tenancy Officer to help support the team with Routine Tenancy Visits, Pre Notice Inspections, Visit in Pairs and Low Rise Flat Inspections to name some of the tasks.

The individual will need to have access to a vehicle to and comfortable being out on the patch the majority of the day.

The roles are based predominately in the West of the City however flexibility is needed to meet the demands of the business.

• The post holder will be the first point of contact for residents supporting them to manage their tenancies and ensure rent is collected in line with the Council’s tenancy agreement, housing legislation and policies and procedures; actions could have significant financial implications in managing a total rent debit of around £98m citywide. 

• The role will deliver an excellent local Housing Management service to tenants and other stakeholders in the city.
  
  Ensuring areas are high performing by improving neighbourhoods through tenancy management, identifying issues and acting on feedback from customers and the community.

• The post holder will work closely with tenants, partners and other stakeholders to ensure schemes and projects run smoothly and that tenant and residents’ groups are supported.
