We are seeking a committed and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join our client's busy Intensive Treatment Unit at their large acute hospital site, based in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
This is a full-time role but our client is open to hearing from applicants seeking to negotiate a part-time hours opportunity.

Close to the city centre and central railway station, their state of the art Leeds Hospital, is the local premium independent sector hospital, boasting an ‘Outstanding’ CQC rating and offers a full range of medical and surgical specialties. 
This successful, purpose-built hospital deals with complex surgery and a vast range of specialities involving some 300 consultants.


There are 80 bedrooms, an 8 bed Level 3 Intensive Care Unit and 6 theatres (2 Stryker laparoscopic and 2 laminar flow). 
Engaging with industry leading consultants to offer a wide range of services and treatments and have a special focus on orthopaedics, general surgery, ophthalmology, ENT, urology, gynaecology and cosmetic surgery.


The ICU cares for patients with a variety of critical conditions including cardiac, liver and spinal cases requiring intensive care support.


 
Person requirements:
Registered Nurse with full NMC registration.
At least two years' experience in an ITU setting
Able to manage a level 3 ventilated patient unsupervised
To have completed a recognised Teaching and Assessing / Mentorship qualification.
A relevant post-registration Critical Care qualification would be an advantage.
