Quality Inspector Salary: £16-£21 ph

 

The Company

Specialising in tight tolerance work for the aerospace, defence and similar industries, its large machine shop is home to a floor full of skilled engineers and on the lookout for a hardworking & knowledgeable Quality Inspector to join its team.

 

Quality Inspector Role & Responsibilities

- Well-versed using a range of hand tools to accurately inspect components
- Comfortable completing FAIRs and necessary documentation
- Have a keen eye for detail
- Knowledge of CMMs is desirable but not essential
- The ability to program CMMs will be crucial for the higher end of the salary bracket
- Able to work from and interpret technical drawings
- A background in Quality Inspecting to aerospace, defence or similar standards is desirable but training will be provided for the right candidate
