  • Remote based role with ad-hoc travel to their offices in the Midlands or West Yorkshire



Working for a global software company we are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join on a 6 month contract.



This is a remote based role with ad-hoc travel once or twice a month to their offices in either Midlands or West Yorkshire.



The main purpose of the role will be to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure services.



Responsibilities:



  • Design and deploy Azure-based applications and infrastructure

  • Implement and manage Azure services like Virtual Machines, App Services, Functions, AKS, SQL Database, Storage, and Networking

  • Automate deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep

  • Configure Azure monitoring, logging, and security solutions

  • Translate business requirements into scalable and secure Azure solutions

  • Optimize and troubleshoot existing Azure deployments

  • Provide guidance on Azure best practices.



    • Skills and experience:



  • Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer

  • Strong understanding of cloud computing and Azure services

  • Proficient in IaC tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep

  • Knowledge of Azure monitoring, logging, and security solutions

  • Scripting skills (PowerShell or Bash)

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

  • Azure certification(s) preferred (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
