We are currently recruiting for our client who are located near Ferndown.
They are expanding and as such are looking for a Machine setter to work in their production sector on days.

The responsibilities of a machine setter are:

- Ensure efficient and accurate setting of all tools.
- Maximise Productivity 
- Minimise material and labour waste
- Attend daily production meetings and agree work schedule 
- Daily safety checks
- Maintain 5s to the required standard 
- Supply product to finishing area in a timely manner 
- Tool care
- Carry out regular checks on jigs/hand tools
- Report air leaks 

Other responsibilities include:

- Maintain acceptable standards in both the workshop and tool store.
- Complete documentation to ensure batch controlis maintained 
- Control Material drying processes
- Make requests for maintenance/spares and consumables
