Job Description: Technical Business Analyst in Tax Area and Withholding Tax (m/f/d)

Location: Munich, with international coordination

Key Responsibilities:

• Insurance and Tax Expertise: Utilize insurance industry knowledge to analyze tax implications and ensure compliance with regulatory changes in tax and withholding tax.


• Business Analysis: Gather and translate operational requirements into technical specifications for IT teams, focusing on tax calculation and certification projects.


• Project Management: Lead and oversee projects related to tax calculations, modifications to capital gains tax (Abgeltungsteuer), and reporting preparation.


• Mainframe Knowledge: Utilize your understanding of mainframe systems to support and guide junior developers, with experience in COBOL considered beneficial.


• International Collaboration: Coordinate with international teams, particularly IT development teams based in Portugal, ensuring effective cross-functional communication.


• Insurance Industry Focus: Apply knowledge of insurance operations and tax implications to enhance project outcomes and operational efficiencies.

Requirements:

• Business Analysis: Proven experience as a business analyst, preferably within the insurance sector, with a strong understanding of tax-related projects.


• Technical Proficiency: Solid technical understanding and experience in managing large-scale projects, particularly in tax-related areas.


• Mainframe Development: Familiarity with mainframe systems; experience with COBOL is a plus.


• Language Skills: Fluent in German and proficient in English to facilitate international collaboration.
