Contract |Manager Electrical & Mechanical Engineering

A business dedicated to excellence in mechanical and electrical engineering services.

They are seeking an experienced and driven Contract Manager.

This role requires a blend of technical expertise, client relationship management, and project oversight to ensure successful project delivery from concept to completion.



Key Responsibilities:


Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.


Business Development: Identify and establish new clients, expanding our customer base and fostering long-term partnerships.


Material List Generation: Accurately generate and manage lists of materials required for various projects.


Subcontractor Coordination: Oversee and coordinate subcontract services, ensuring quality and compliance with project specifications.


Quotation and Procurement: Prepare and manage quotations for procurement, securing cost-effective prices and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.


Project Management: Manage the entire project lifecycle from concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


Accreditations and H&S Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to relevant accreditations and Health & Safety regulations.



Requirements:


Educational Background: Must possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or both OR industry equivalent qualifications


Experience: Proven experience in a similar role within the engineering industry.


Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.


Project Management Skills: Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.


Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.


Health & Safety: In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and accreditation standards.


Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively.
