Fostering Team Manager

About the role


This is a great opportunity to join a home-working, not-for-profit, organisation.

The Team Manager is responsible for the successful recruitment of new foster carers into the organisation, proactively building excellent relationships with potential fostering applicants & guiding them through the assessment & approval process.


Within this role, the key responsibilities will also include overseeing the assessment process, managing and providing quality assurance for all Form F assessments, work closely with area teams to identify training opportunities, and attend and provide information in team meetings.


About you


A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) is essential to be considered for this role.

Experience of working in Children's Services would be ideal, and a background in Fostering would be highly desirable.

The ideal applicant will also need to have previous experience within a Management role.


This is a home-working position; however it is essential you have a full driver's licence with access to your own vehicle, some travel will be required for recruitment activity and training events across Wales and Bristol.
