A well-established company specialising in the design, manufacture, and construction of a wide range of steel structures and looking for a Sheet Metal Operative to join the team.

Their projects include various industrial buildings, large-scale facilities, and specialised equipment.

Sheet Metal Operative Responsibilities:

- Interpret and work from technical engineering drawings to manufacture sheet metal components, such as trims and flashings for steel structures.
- Operate a guillotine and CNC-operated brake press.
- Perform tasks such as marking out material, cutting, folding, edge rolling, and jigsaw cutting sheet metal.
- Use a radial drill as required.
- Adhere to all relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, and complete appropriate risk assessments.

Sheet Metal Operative Key Skills:

- Strong mathematical and practical skills.
- Attention to detail and a keen willingness to work.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Experience in a similar manufacturing or industrial environment is advantageous, though applications from trainees are welcome.
- The role requires a commitment to upholding company values, including safety, integrity, and continuous improvement.
